Contractor Willmott Dixon has given a group of university students a site tour of Birmingham City University’s (BCU) new extension project.

Due for completion in October 2017, the £31 million scheme is being built using the latest BIM technology, making it the ideal site for student engagement visits.

Led by the Birmingham-based construction firm, the group of 23 architectural technology and BIM Masters students from BCU and the University of Wolverhampton visited the Curzon B extension which, once complete, will house over 3,000 students and feature more than 650 rooms, a student hub, lecture theatre and mock courtrooms.
